Ben and I attended the Family Day in Claret last Saturday, which also happened to be my birthday.
We had a great time. Ben and his classmates danced the tinikling (minus the stilts...don't ask me why) and a song number. Since he was one of the bigger kids in class, he was relegated to the back rows. Unfortunately, since he wasn't really towering over his classmates, it was very difficult to spot him while he was on stage. I did manage to take some shots after the dance and song numbers though.
He also got to mingle with Clifford the Big Red Dog, and was taking his time I had to pull him away so other kids can have their turn too.
Highlight of the event was when the children gave their parents a handmade card. Ben's was a bit wrinkly and messy, but it was a great gift, nonetheless. Best one I've had in years.
So here are some photos:

The following day, I took out my tripod and decided to take some shots of the two of us. Here are a couple of them;

New pictures of Ben
I just wanted to post some new pictures of Ben. He's grown another centimeter and now weighs roughly 47 lbs.
pa-cute talaga itong batang ito
talagang camera-friendly
watching TV with his lolo
love niya si lolo
Weird how he's grown so fast. I look at his pictures when he was a baby and realize that so much has changed. He can be a handful at times, but I honestly don't mind. I cherish all the time we spend together. I know the time will come when he'd rather be with his friends and other people, so right now I'm enjoying the fact that he seems to like having me around all the time.
Here's a picture of the two of us taken last Christmas. I posted this same picture back in December but am posting it again (a smaller file) so I can add it to my blogger profile.
you look at this picture and you think we never fight :-D
Oh well, I love Bentot...
