Upcoming milestone for Ben

Yup, another milestone in Ben's life...he's starting school this year. His official start in on June 6, as a Nursery student at Fremont Learning Center. It's just a small preschool a few blocks away from the house, but Ben is excited. In fact, when I enrolled him in school, he didn't want to leave anymore. I think he'll warm up to school pretty well.
We also went and bought the stuff he'll be needing for school. He wants to start using them all now, but I managed to restrain him, he he he. I keep thinking, years from now, he's probably going to hate it when school is about to start. For now, I'm glad he is so looking forward to it.
So, expect a few pictures in the next week or so. Of course, proud nanay will be taking photos for posterity.

Summer...summer, summer, bummer

I just cannot get in synch with work because of the heat...and there is so much to do.
Well, we're moving into the second week of May and word is the weather's going to get hotter and more humid. Geez, I stand up and I start to sweat, and I haven't even done anything yet.
Ben has got an infection, which is being aggravated by the heat. Good thing he doesn't have a fever anymore. We've got the aircon in the room on most of the time, and he still gets sweaty.
My friend Carrie asked the other Coven members if we're interested in joining her in Kota Kinabalu. Roundtrip airfare is only USD99, quite cheap. Free accommodations and get this, at Shangri-la Tanjung Resort. I stayed there once, and it was beautiful. I want to, I want to, I want to...but wait...that's almost enrolment time and Ben is going to school starting this June. Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy. I wonder...
