Does it have to be so hot...

The weather over the past couple of weeks has been so hot, I have been having trouble getting anything done. Even with the airconditioning on, it's still hot. I would like to stay under water at all times just to get that sticky feeling off.
Ben is holding up pretty well, just a bit of prickly heat. Of course, he's got lots of stuff being put on his body, but his skin is nice and soft and smooth, and mine isn't.
Tomorrow I'm having lunch with my friend Jong. I'm looking forward to it. We can rant a bit about the goings on in the world today.

A day of fun in the sun

Sunday, 17 April: Auntie Dolly's birthday, and a day when a number of the DQ (Diego Querijero) family went and had a day-long picnic in Pansol (Calamba, Laguna). We rented a house with a pool for a day, and spent the better part of it goofing off in the swimming pool. It was fun, fun, fun, and Ben enjoyed himself immensely. He kept jumping into the pool (into the arms of someone, to be sure), and spent so much time in the water, Auntie Anay was upset with me. He is quite dark now, having tanned quite nicely. Photos to be posted after this.
Come Sunday (24 April), we've got another Pansol trip, this time with the members of the Tan Family. I'm looking forward to that. And of course, more pictures will follow.
On a sadder note, Kuya Edmun and Sharon left back for the States this morning. It was good to have them visit, and we're sad to see them go, but hopefully, they'll be back for more fun next year.
